“The local businesses and community have been very supportive of Bacon Graphics over the past couple of years,” says Bacon Graphics Partner Bob Stanhope

“We have been looking for a location to serve our growth for a year now. We wanted to stay in Newport, yet we needed a location with high traffic and visibility for our services,” continued Stanhope.

The North Main Street location, across from the Newport High School and formerly Stardancer Studios, is the high traffic the company was seeking with Route 10 serving as a main artery through town.

Stanhope and his business partner Jim Chrimes are both Newport natives.

“Newport is a great community and the new showroom location will feature much of the work we have completed locally,” said Chrimes.

Chrimes was very active with the 250^th Anniversary Committee in Newport. He designed the book cover for the anniversary commemorative book, the charter day cancellation stamp through the postal service, many posters for festivities and a new sign for the Newport Historical Society and sign for the new Newport Information Booth.

The Newport Tigers apparel store will offer fresh and exciting designs in the way of t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and sports themes.

“We are very excited about offering items through the store,” said Stanhope.

“It offers a convenient location for students and parents to pick up an item to show their support of the Tiger community. And, we will have the store open in time for the Christmas holiday,” expressed Stanhope.

While many clients are local, Bacon Graphics offers its design and marketing services throughout the country. Their current geographic reach is as far South as Alabama and Texas and as far West as Colorado. They have also created a branding campaign for a non-profit in the Washington, DC area that has penetrated internationally to Canada, Australia, and Japan.
